About: Muscle and Joint Relief Salve has anti-inflammatory, strengthening and regenerative properties. It can be used to soothe sore muscles and joints and relieve inflammation and discomfort from arthritis, carpel tunnel, sprains and strains. Muscle and Joint Relief Salve also reduces swelling from bumps, bruises and other minor injuries.

Ingredients: St. John’s wort flowers(Hypericum perforatum)*, arnica flowers (Arnica mollis)**, yarrow leaves (Achillea millefolium)* and dandelion flowers**(Taraxacum officinalis), comfrey leaves*(Symphytum officinale), Black cottonwood buds** (Populus trichocarpa), organic extra virgin olive oil, pure filtered beeswax, organic unrefined shea butter, vitamin E oil, organic or wildcrafted essential oils of Roman chamomile, frankincense, cardamom, ginger, clove, wintergreen, grapefruit and petit-mandarin.

Suggested Use: Apply liberally over affected areas one to three times daily. Do not apply to broken skin or open wounds.

Our Process: The herbs in our Healing Salves are always hand harvested with respect and care at their peak seasonal potency. Salves are produced from fresh herbs grown on our micro farm or harvested from the wild and processed in small batches. Fresh herbs are wilted or dried to remove water and each herb is infused in organic oil and then hand pressed. We then blend these medicinal oils with high quality pure filtered beeswax, organic unrefined shea butter and vitamin E oil. These ingredients are chosen for their soothing and emollient properties. We add specific organic essential oils for their medicinal virtues. Wise Mountain Botanicals’ salves are for topical application and are an excellent way to directly deliver plant medicine through the skin.
