Botanical Skin Care
We carefully craft botanical salves and therapeutic oils to heal and nourish the skin. The herbs in our Healing Salves are always harvested with respect and care at their peak seasonal potency. Herbs are cultivated in our gardens or harvested from wild stands of locally abundant plants. Salves are produced from fresh plant material and processed with care by hand in small batches. Each herb is infused slowly with the power of the sun in organic olive or almond oil for one complete lunar cycle and then hand pressed. We then blend these medicinal oils with locally sourced pure filtered beeswax, organic unrefined shea butter and vitamin E oil. These ingredients are chosen for their soothing and emollient properties. Each salve is formulated with a blend of organic essential oils chosen for their unique medicinal virtues. Wise Mountain Botanicals’ salves are for topical application and are an excellent way to directly deliver plant medicine through the skin.
Therapeutic oils are crafted in a base of organic oils infused with fresh herbs cultivated in our gardens. This is then blended with other rich, rejuvenating botanical oils and organic essential oils, creating a concentrated healing and aromatic oil for topical use.

Violet Rose Botanical Face Elixir is an exquisite skin care delicacy. A fragrant, gentle skin serum that combines a season of spring's sweet violets in the garden married to Rose, Rose and more Roses. Sweet violets fresh from the garden were infused into organic almond oil and recharged three times, saturating their sweet medicine and subtle, delicate scent into the oil. Dried rose petals from last summer’s garden were infused in organic almond oil. These two oils along with organic rosehip seed oil combine for a luxurious, fragrant, skin healing base oil.
Violets exude an ethereal perfume, are uplifting and possess anti-inflammatory virtues and grief moving properties. Roses reign supreme for their perfume and heart medicine. Rose encourages heart opening and is a lovely, soothing, compassionate plant ally.
This serum combines many extremely exquisite botanical extracts and essential oils to nourish and heal the skin, with aromatherapeutic components to uplift and support the mood, senses and heart. All ingredients are natural, organic and purely plant based. Organic essential oils and plant extracts reduce inflammation and support skin tone, elasticity and cellular integrity.
Contains: Fresh garden grown violets (Viola odorata) and roses (Rosa sp.); organic almond, rosehip seed oils; vitamin E oil; organic white rose otto, rose de mai extract, jasmine extract; organic essential oils of palmarosa, sandalwood, helichrysum, carrot seed and rose geranium.
This oil is formulated to use sparingly, as a little goes a long way as a face serum. It can also be used by the dropperful in the bath for a divine skin healing and aromatic bathing experience. Store in cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Note that this oil is predominately rose scented. The scent of the violets is very subtle, lending their skin healing virtues to the oil.
This oil is packaged in a 1/2 ounce glass bottle. Larger sizes are available upon request.
